Hello/Oki,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all new and returning students to Lethbridge Polytechnic. I am Divine Ezeh and I am thrilled to serve as your Lethbridge Polytechnic Students’ Association (LPSA) President for the 2025-2026 academic year.

I am an international student from Nigeria and currently in my second year Bachelor of Nursing. My educational journey as an international student comes with its difficulties and victories. This experience has brought to light the difficulties we face as students, and the importance of student community and welfare in achieving overall success. I have mostly spent my time at the polytechnic volunteering and engaging with students and the student council in enriching our campus life.

My vision is to create a supportive environment where every student feels heard and empowered, helping students pilot through life at the Polytechnic, giving a listening ear to their concerns and providing help/resources as much as I can.

LPSA creates a space where students feel comfortable and feel like they belong. I believe in collaborative leadership, and I will work with all of you to shape an inclusive student community. Be eager to stop me or say hi in the hallway and share your thoughts/ideas/concerns. You are always welcome to my office or can reach me at sapres@lethpolytech.ca also.  As your President, I will be your voice at meetings, conferences and talks with our polytechnic and government officials. I ensure to portray equity and responsibility while advocating student needs and experience.

To our new students- welcome to Lethbridge Polytechnic. To our returning students- Welcome back! This year entails growth, new memories, and new connections. Thank you for trust and here’s to a wonderful year ahead of us. Together, we can make Lethbridge Polytechnic better!

Best Regards,

Divine Ezeh

Oki, everybody my name is Abhay Thakur, and I will be serving you as the LPSA VP Student Life. I am currently a second-year student in the General Arts and Science program with Psychology and Sociology as my major. I have a passion for reading, writing, painting, and gardening.

As the VP Student Life, my main goal will be fostering inclusivity, uplifting student wellness and provide support and services to the highest quality. I will be working my hardest to foster an informational and fun campus for everybody; and will welcome student’s experiences and suggestions to make better decisions. I follow an open-door policy and would love to hear student’s experiences, stories, and issues. The biggest thing I believe in is kindness, for it takes nothing to be kind and promise and unbiased ear for your problems.

Cheers to a fun, informational and inclusive campus for all.

Hello/Oki,

It is an honour to welcome both new and returning students to Lethbridge Polytechnic. My name is Keanon Braithwaite, and I’m excited to serve as your Vice President Operations and Finance for the 2025–2026 academic year.

As an accounting major, I understand how important financial transparency, student engagement, and accessible services are to our overall student experience. In my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many students through academics, work, and student life, and I’m committed to strengthening the systems that support all of us.

In my role, I’ll be overseeing the financial operations of the LPSA and working to ensure our student fees are used efficiently and responsibly. Whether it’s improving student spaces, funding events, or enhancing services, I’m here to ensure our resources are managed with accountability and integrity. I’ll also be supporting campus operations, helping the association run smoothly and in the best interests of students.

My goal is to create a campus environment where every student feels their voice matters—especially when it comes to how your money is spent and what services you receive. If you have ideas, concerns, or questions about how things work behind the scenes, I encourage you to reach out. You can find me in the LPSA office or contact me directly at savpfinance@lethpolytech.ca.

To all new students—welcome to Lethbridge Polytechnic. And to those returning—welcome back! Let’s make this a year of growth, collaboration, and meaningful change.

Together, we’ll make it a year to remember.

Warm regards,

Keanon Braithwaite
